VIJAY AWARDS BEST ENTERTAINER 2014

Sivakarthikeyan   : Our Sivakarthikeyan, who is on a roll with back-to-back successful films, bagged the best entertainer of the year award. It was an emotional and proud moment for all sivakarthikeyan fans as he bagged his award from Ilayathalapathi ,sivakarthikeyan told that he dedicates this award to his dad who is his RoleModel , he thanked PandiyaRaj sir Dhanush sir for  believing and giving him such an oppurtunity which was more than his dreams he also thanked his fans for their encouraging support and unstoppable love 

After granting the award Ilayathalapathi Vijay told that Siva is loved by all kids and youngsters ,even his son and daughter loves siva more , he also mentioned that siva deserves more for his Hardwork and success by patting on his shoulders.

It was an real proud and happy moment for all sivakarthikeyan fans and true success for his Hardwork and talent 

Best Entertainer 2014 Vijay Awards - Siva Karthikeyan

The 8th annual Vijay Awards was held in a grand manner at Nehru Stadium, Chennai on Saturday.

The event was a star-studded affair with the presence of several big stars of Indian cinema including Kamal Haasan, Shah Rukh Khan, Surya, Vijay, Oscar winner A.R.Rahman, director Shankar and Prabhu among others.

Siva Karthikeyan answers about the rift between him and Dhanush

              There were rumors floating around about a rift between Siva Karthikeyan and Dhanush, following the former's glorious success run over the past year or so. However, Siva Karthikeyan denied any such rumors.

In a recent interview, he said,

Sivakarthikeyan has said that he will never agree to do a lip-lock scene in movies at any point of time and he has a reason for it. Known to be the children’s hero, Sivakarthikeyan is the favorite hero among kids now. Knowing this well, the actor wants to maintain his clean-slate image and hence is against lip-lock scenes.

He is one of the top-ranking actors in Kollywood with most number of hits and interestingly all these films are comic capers. Well, now we know the reason behind his decision!

"When I got an offer to do a film with Pandiraj sir, I immediately accepted it. I wasn't thinking of the future, and gave it my best. But guess I was destined to debut with the film and I'm glad I did. The film gave a boost to my career, and now, I'm happy to be winning awards for my performance as well," he smiles, "I thank Chennai Times and everyone who voted for me."

The young Anirudh, who burst onto the scene with 3, which featured the viral hit Why This Kolaveri Di, has several Tamil films lined up currently. So, how did he land this film? A lot of people do not know that it was actually because of a short film for which he'd scored music. Recalls Anirudh, "Those days, Dhanush kept saying that I'll make it big someday, but I thought he was pulling my leg! When he wanted me to compose music for the film, I was just 19 and in my final year of college. The offer was sudden and unexpected — just like the success."

Taana Update

Taana is an upcoming Indian Tamil action film directed by Durai Senthilkumar and produced by Dhanush, collaborating for a second venture after Ethir Neechal (2013). The film features Sivakarthikeyan and Sri Divya in the leading roles. The venture, which has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, will release in late 2014.Siva will play a police in lead.

And the most interesting and excited news is that Prabhu sir ..son of late (Shri Shivaji Ganesan sir ) a great and a wonderful actor is acting in the movie

Santhanam was addressing media persons during the success meet of his production venture 'Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham' in which he has acted as the solo lead hero.

SivaKarthikeyan to appear as person in Court

A case on Maan Karate, which was released earlier this month, has been filed in a Chennai city court. The film is being accused of showing the boxing game in a bad taste. A boxer has filed a petition against the makers of the flick and demanded for a ban on the film.  Boxer J Krishnamurthy has alleged that Maan Karate shows the sports in the bad taste. Instead of promoting the sports, the Tamil flick discourage aspiring boxers. He wants the Tamil movie to be banned.

"I understand the film is not based on boxing, but the sport has been extensively used in the film. They have disrespected the sport by making a caricature version of it on screen. I have filed a complaint with the city police commissioner requesting to ban the film," Krishnamurthy said. "They have not even followed the rules of the sport. By portraying it in such poor light, a bad impression of the sport is left on aspiring boxers. I wouldn't mind if it was just for a scene, but most of the second half of the film is about boxing," he further adds.

Pandiraj to direct Sivakarthikeyan again?

For International Fans ( in English ) : Pandiraj to Direct Siva again. When everyone realized that Pandiraj was going to do a film starring a TV Anchor, they contacted him advising not to take the risk. But Pandiraj didn't mind them and said " I will make a movie starring SivaKarthikeyan and it will become a hit. "

Taana likely to Release in September

Shooting for Taana, Siva Karthikeyan’s upcoming film, as scheduled started shooting again on May 7 after a four-day break. The movie has already completed twelve days of shoot in Chennai, a source close to the project said.
