It was an emotional and proud moment for all sivakarthikeyan fans as he bagged his award from Ilayathalapathi ,sivakarthikeyan told that he dedicates this award to his dad who is his RoleModel , he thanked PandiyaRaj sir Dhanush sir for  believing and giving him such an oppurtunity which was more than his dreams he also thanked his fans for their encouraging support and unstoppable love 

After granting the award Ilayathalapathi Vijay told that Siva is loved by all kids and youngsters ,even his son and daughter loves siva more , he also mentioned that siva deserves more for his Hardwork and success by patting on his shoulders.

The 8th annual Vijay Awards was held in a grand manner at Nehru Stadium, Chennai on Saturday.

The event was a star-studded affair with the presence of several big stars of Indian cinema including Kamal Haasan, Shah Rukh Khan, Surya, Vijay, Oscar winner A.R.Rahman, director Shankar and Prabhu among others.
